Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Description

Our client is a high tech water and waste water treatment company that is experiencing strong growth with development contracts with many blue-chip multinational clients.

A position has now arisen for an experienced senior mechanical design engineer to assist in the design for water and waste water treatment plants. You will have a degree in mechanical engineering and ideally experience in the design of large industrial water/waste water treatment plants, however a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a relevant industry will be considered.

The position will entail responsibility for taking projects through from conceptual design to detailed drawings for the major EPC contractors.

You should be highly competent in technical areas, or a similar CAD package and be able to produce high quality engineering models, drawings and assemblies. You will be responsible for ensuring that the department produces successful machine designs on time, on budget and with the required performance and cost.
