Senior IT Specialist
We are seeking applications for the role of Senior IT Specialist reporting into the Director of IT/Corporate Systems who is based in Canada.
The main responsibilities will be to manage, operate, monitor and support all IT equipment and activities in order to provide reliable prompt IT support to 75 office based workstations, 5 servers and circa 70 customer web facing servers in Ashford, Kent.
At present and this location is designated to become the future European hub for 20-20 Technologies, and jobholder will play a key role in this development and implementation, involving contact and occasional travel to European and Canadian sites.
Candidates should be computer science/engineering graduates (or equivalent) with substantial pertinent experience in a senior IT position in production MS Windows server environment.
Excellent understanding of Windows server, MS exchange, MS SQL server, IIS, Active Directory, Network backup software, security and network administration, web application hosting is essential.
Applicants need to display a professional approach, be a proactive self organiser, a clear communicator, be customer service orientated and able to work alone.
Bilingual English/French would be an asset. |
