Head of IT
The Role
This is a key role that will lead & motivate the IT function to deliver high quality IT service to support the business. Dealing at board level you will take the business strategy and work with the other business Heads to drive IT forward.
You will enthuse the team and have 1st class communication skills with an understanding of business objectives and how to deliver these by leading and developing a team of IT professionals. You would be responsible for all budgets, strategy & projects within this area.
Skills
Establish IT Divisional objectives in conjunction with the company’s strategic aims.
Ensure the IT Divisional objectives are achieved in line with any deadlines.
Build strategies for developing the IT function.
Liaise closely with the Leadership Team to
Ensure IT Strategies are designed and delivered in line with business requirements and priorities.
Contribute to Leadership Team meetings on key IT & business issues.
Support the delivery and embedding of The Cultural Framework
Ensure risks and conflicts of interest are identified and managed in line with company policy
Select and manage the implementation of a new IT Telephony & Insurance Quoting system
