Group IT Director
Our client is a large and rapidly expanding multinational specialist retailer. The business has a need to hire an experienced Interim CIO to take responsibility for leading and managing the execution of a transformation plan.
Duties will include the following:
Understand/clarify & articulate the business strategy
Take a leadership role in strategic planning
Articulate the portfolio of work needed to support the business’ strategic change
Evaluate the business benefits and value that will be delivered
Establish a baseline cost/KPI model
Manage the various streams of improvement as part of a consistent programme of work
Have a clear view of the organisation’s current technical capabilities
Build the capability/organisation to be capable of delivering the required change
Establish effective governance mechanisms with the business
Manage key supplier relationships and budgets
Be a visible leader of change
It is essential that you have had prior retail experience, ideally of a multi-channel nature. You should be responsive and able to drive a real connection with the business quickly. The role requires an immediate start. |
