Product Manager - Loan Banking

 

• To develop, establish and migrate sales, marketing/product strategies in order to grow and achieve budgeted revenue and increase market shares through brand positioning, structured marketing campaigns, product packaging, sales strategies and strategic initiatives.

• To assist the tele-sales team (recruit, train & motivate) to deliver budgeted revenues & volumes in the most cost efficient manner.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:

 

• Develop and manage marketing strategies to establish product positioning for maximizing product use and meeting product revenue targets.

• Lead & direct the sales and distribution channels for achieving the desired market share and budgeted business growth.

• Provide support to territory managers by identifying avenues contributing to budgeted revenue.

• Lead database analysis to predict product usage, potential market penetration and new opportunities.

• Review and monitor competitive products and champion strategies to ensure SCBx378s competitive edge.

• Review product programmes and make enhancements/modifications.

• Develop product documentation in co-ordination with various functions.

• Work with Territory Managers to formulate sales strategies for effective penetration.

• Conduct market research as appropriate.

• Examine the results of SQ indicators and CSS to ensure appropriate action.

• Conduct/arrange training for branch front-line / sales staff as necessary to ensure better communication with customers and more efficient sales process.

 

Skills

 

• 8 - 10 years experience in loan product banking.

• Strong skills in Features, Policy, Contract, Documentation & Legal.

• Professional banking experiences preferably a MBA degree from a recognized University.

• Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Good planning and creative abilities.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Very good knowledge of banking practices and regulations.

• Excellent analytical and MIS skills.
