Finance Director

 

 

·          To provide leadership and management to the finance team of 10, responsible for all aspects of divisional accounting including cash-flow management, budgeting and reports, monthly and annual accounting including year end procedures, dealing with auditors and all other statutory requirements

·          To be an integral part of the senior management team, contributing to strategic direction, goal setting and delivering the business plan

·          Reporting directly to the Managing Director, providing relevant financial information and support wherever required, whether that be on a regular or ad hoc basis so as to facilitate substantive strategic and commercial decision making

·          To work closely with the existing operating units within the division establishing clear financial Key Performance Indicators and embedding these KPI’s into the business on a cultural and operational level

·          Providing relevant reporting information to all relevant stakeholders including Main Board, share-holders and professional services’ firms.

·           Involvement in future acquisition activity, providing input into due diligence and subsequent integration of companies into the Group

·          Be a key leader in the establishment of a highly dynamic and results orientated business culture within the Group

 

 

Candidate Profile

 

·          Demonstrable track record of success in his or her career to date, a suitably qualified professional (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), experience gained as a member of an executive or senior management team

·          Success in the leadership and management of a stand alone Finance and Accounting function within a fast growing and dynamic business environment

·          Highly professional and credible, intelligent, excellent communicator, develops effective relationships

·          Excellent leadership and people management skills, strong commercial and business acumen, good team player able to take responsibility and be accountable

·          Must possess real passion, drive and vision, be able to make things happen and have good attention to detail and be hands on whilst maintaining a strategic perspective

·           Have a real desire and commitment to grow and develop a profitable business whilst retaining the highest standards of service delivery
