International FMCG company currently requires a proven sales and marketing expert to take responsibility for adapting and implementing global corporate strategies into the UK marketplace and for developing relationships with distributors.
My client is looking to ensure long term market growth in the UK and Ireland hence the creation of this new position.
A General Management role with direct responsibility for sales and for creating a sales and marketing growth strategy the position is responsible for the provision of a total quality service to the costs/profitability of the operation.
The successful candidate will have outright P&L responsibility and direct management of distributor services, the marketing team and sales strategy team, with 4 direct and 20 indirect reports.
Due to the international aspect of the company all applicants must be prepared to travel extensively within the UK and globally.
To qualify for this position you will have significant international sales and marketing experience and will most likely have been working at a general management level.
Candidates will have gained solid knowledge within the multi-level marketing and direct selling industry and ideally a significant amount of practical experience within the FMCG or mail-order sectors. |
