Sales and Marketing Director 

 

Instrumentation manufacturing

 

This $40m specialist division of a global $multi-billion industrial company manufactures and distributes instrumentation product and support services within a niche sector of the industrial market, selling through both direct and indirect channels. This newly created role carries global accountability for the sales and marketing function with sales teams in the UK, mainland Europe, the US and Asia 

 

Reporting to Managing Director and member of the Senior Management team.

 

·          Lead, direct and develop the commercial activities of each local sales and marketing team across each of the international geographical territories.

·          Engage with both the direct and indirect sales channels to raise revenues and margin and lead the sales function through the next stage of evolution.

·          Provide input and focus to raise the skill level across the sales teams in particular to capitalise on increased opportunity in key account development.

·          Highly successful sales leader with proven multi-channel experience across Europe and ideally the US and Asia. Preference for experience across both high and low value capital goods/instrumentation.

·          Degree educated, exceptional communicator with willingness to travel.
