Estimation Engineer
Reporting to the project Manager, The selected candidate must have the capability to be a mentor/ team leader for current and upcoming projects.
Timely submission of Tenders as per the specifications & requirements. Plan, estimate, deploy and contract resources for the bid. Submit and obtain approval for all the materials and ensure that the Company wins. Coordinate to ensure that materials are purchased on time. Achieve the budgeted gross margin. Prepare & Submit drawings.
· Estimation & negotiation skills
· Pre-tendering activities- study of B.O.Q., drawings, Specifications; enquires on prices, Subcontractors & Suppliers Bid Comparisons & Analysis
· Evaluation, Estimation & Costing: final pricing with discussions with GM and submission of Bid with Technical & Commercial Proposals.
· Project team on Claims & Variations
· Quantity surveying and quantity takeoff
· Knowing Local rates and prices in relation to contracting business.
· Preparing subcontracts, BOQ’s, Variation orders, claims, and comparative statements
· Preparing budgets, rate analysis, and cost control
