UK HR Director

 

Our client is a leading if not the leading marketing services organisation with a global network that spans over 100 offices in 55 countries. Following a recent merger and re-brand they are now seeking an experienced HR Director to lead, direct and manage forward thinking HR initiatives that mirror the strategic business objectives of the business.

 

THE ROLE

 

Reporting to the UK CEO and leading a team of 5 the role is responsible for the provision of operational and strategic HR to enable the effective delivery of key people initiatives. There will some continuation work around the merger including harmonisation of policy, process and culture as well as defining a new internal brand and employee engagement strategy. Other key strategies will involve external employee branding, recruitment, succession planning and retention. Above all this is a ‘hands on’ generalist role providing day-to-day support and advice to the business.

 

THE PERSON

 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Head of/Director with generalist experience gained within a fast moving, creative or professional services business. You will be well versed in employee relations, recruitment and TUPE. Most importantly your approach will be creative, professional, inspiring and flexible. A ‘grown-up’ you’ll be the type of professional that enjoys influencing and changing perceptions through your commercial acumen, pragmatism, passion and sheer energy. Experience of working within an international network would be beneficial.
