HR Manager - Service Sector  

 

Our client is a recognised provider of a range of services which operate within the business community as well as consumer markets throughout the UK. Already a dominant player in their market their reputation for offering quality services within a secure framework is what has made them the provider of choice. Through continued growth they need an experienced HRM generalist to support expansion.

 

Working directly with the Managing Director and closely with all sector heads the Human Resources Manager will play a key and pivotal role as a business partner to put in place the right practises and planning processes to support the overall of the organisation as a whole.

 

THE ROLE

 

·          developing the HR plan to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organisation through developing relevant people strategies which attract, retain and develop the best people

·          align to the plan to the overall business and group strategy

·          develop close working relationships with all head of department

·          oversee the development of the HR team

·          plan and manage the HR Budget

 

 

THE PERSON

 

In order to step into this key role you are likely to have at least 5 years in a generalist Human Resources Management role, ideally within a service sector, with a recognised degree or Human Resources qualification. To be effective in this organisation your experience will need to have covered a wide range of issues including the most up-to-date legislation and employment law as well as being a highly effective communicator at senior level.
