HR Manager - Retail

 

We are recruiting for a progressive, expanding retailer based in Dubai. They have a number of instantly recognised brands, and a number of home developed brands, one of which is very prominent in the region. They are a well regarded business, who is continuing to evolve at a rapid pace.

 

THE ROLE

 

·          Developing best practice, you will spend the initial period reviewing and implementing a complete HR structure, from approving job descriptions through to planning appraisal and review mechanisms.

·          A true generalist role, you will be involved in the business from the very outset, influencing and advancing the HR methods throughout the entire chain of command.

·          You will be supported by a full HR team, with specialists in Learning and Development, Change Management, Talent Acquisition and Compensation and Benefits.

 

THE PERSON

 

With a track record of HR achievement, gained in the GCC area and preferably in a fast paced environment such as FMCG, retail or similar, you will be a fluent English and Arabic speaker, who has excellent listening skills and is a true relationship builder.

 

This role requires a high level of interaction at the top level of the business, so it is important that you feel comfortable interacting and influencing the Main Board, from the Chairman through to the CEO and COO.

 

Excellent career progression is on offer to the right person. Extensive travel throughout the GCC region may be required at times.
