HR Director 

 

Our client with more than 5,000 employees and over 100 sites across the UK and Europe. It has an exciting period of growth ahead through acquisitions, further site rollouts and organic development. The company, UK market leader, has already undergone huge change since the acquisition and integration of the sectors. The appointment therefore of a Human Resources Director in the new management team is a critical one.

 

THE ROLE

·         Lead the transformation of the current HR function into one which has the processes, stakeholder relationships, capability, capacity and skills to support the delivery of the companyx378s vision and business strategy

·         Work with the management team to ensure a continued smooth transition as the two organizations merge

·         Build a recruitment and employee engagement programme to reflect the culture of the newly integrated businesses

·         Lead the strategic organization development programme, carrying out a robust talent review considering, in particular, succession planning, development and performance issues

·         Build a dynamic and creative training and development strategy in line with the business goals of the organization

·         Stimulate change and make it happen in a positive way, challenging embedded norms and developing a proactive responsive people strategy

·         Build a robust pipeline of next generation leaders

·         Provide advice and support to the executive management team on HR issues within the business
