Human Resources Director, Retail
Our client is dynamic food retail and electronics retail company with a large network of Retail stores across the Middle East and Europe. A young and exciting brand, the business continues to innovate and is searching for a commercial Human Resources Director to lead the Retail people strategy and contribute to the creation of a truly world class retailing environment.
THE ROLE
An opportunity to create the people agenda within a substantial Retail operation and make an impact across a much broader, diverse business overall.
Contribute to the group level Human Resources strategy as a member of the Human Resources executive management team and build strong relationships with the wider group.
Deliver the HR strategy to the Retail business in line with the vision, mission and targets of the business, and lead the implementation of major change/annual ‘BAU’ processes.
Work directly with the Retail business from an Organisational Development perspective to identify gaps in capability and leadership.
Implement the necessary HR policies and practices to improve the overall performance across profitability, employee satisfaction, succession planning, training, quality, retention and reward.
THE PERSON
Proven track record as a senior level HR business partner in a fast paced, multi site consumer focused environment recognized as best in class. Exposure to Retail organisations would be a distinct advantage.
A demonstrable track record leading a team across most Human Resources disciplines including Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training, Talent, Development, Reward and Performance.
A thorough working knowledge of employee relations and an up to date understanding of employee legislation.
Track record of achievement within dynamic environments where transformational change management and the delivery of organizational and cultural change has been a key theme to build capability and grow talent.
A graduate, ideally with a post-graduate qualification in a Human Resources related discipline.
